Hi there. So I installed the Easy WP SMTP and have configured it to send from my host provider, but how do I send the email?

I have also installed a custom template plugin called WP HTML Mail and have designed the template, which said I need an SMTP to send the custom HTML email.

I don’t understand how or where to send the email from using Easy WP SMTP so that it displays the custom HTML email. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

  • Hi,

Our plugin only serves as a bridge between your site and your email client. You need a contact form to receive emails via your site.

Let me know if the above makes sense to you.

    Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I’ll try to clarify a bit more exactly what I mean. I’m trying to use my WP email to send just regular emails to individuals. When I send from my host provider, it’s just a text-only email. I want to be able to send someone an email and have my custom header and footer appear in the email, which I created with the custom HTML email template. If someone makes a purchase through my e-commerce gateway, my site automatically sends them an email with the custom HTML, but I want to be able to send regular emails for communication purposes from my WP website that includes the custom HTML template (header and footer).

Our plugin has nothing to do with the way emails are sent. You need to check the settings of what ever plugin/service you are using to send emails.

    Kind regards
