    Hello,

Top question: What if a customer input the wrong email address?

All of the functions in this plugin are supposed that the customer will input a correct email, right?

    But, please note:

1# There are 25% customer input wrong email address, which cause miss out the shipping tracking email from us.

2#?According to our test, 99%?of?recovered orders were from the coupon email within 5 minutes, less 1% were recovered within 30 minutes, and there were never order recovered more than 1 hours.

Why? a customer said:” Online shopping is not only pricing, but also time assumption, we hate abondand cart email, because the seller is less sincerity.

So, send coupon immediately to the customer will not only much helpful to improve convertion rate, but also a great way to verify if customer email address is correct.

    Feature request:
is there any way to show a popup, and require email input when an item is added to a cart by a customer, and send an email to the customer with a coupon immediately upon submitting email address, but not by a delayed Abandonment recovery email?

    Hi @alexliii

Thank you very much for reaching out and asking your questions here! I will try to answer each of them in order:

    1) What happens if a customer enters a misspelled email address? CartBounty is closely integrated with WooCommerce, if a customer enters a wrong email address and places an order, the customer most likely is not going to receive a confirmation email and all following communication is going to be missed. The same will happen with abandoned cart reminder emails.
CartBounty has a basic email validation that checks if this is a correct email, but it does not validate if it exists or not.

    2) About providing customer quicker with a coupon code. Thank you very much for your excellent suggestion! Our team actually at the moment is working on adding a new feature that will allow you to provide an instant coupon code if customer enters his email or phone number inside Early capture or Exit Intent tools. We are currently in the testing phase to make sure everything works as it is intended and it will be included in the next version release along with other new improvements.
This should help motivate more customers to provide their contact details and go through with the order.

    Kind regards,
    Nauris

En…. Great, actually, it would be much great if it support to send out coupon email at Early capture when the customer add item into cart, and please check the screenshot on your offical site:

That is only opportunity to save abandonded cart, otherwise, there will never be chance.

    Thanks
