• I am re-designing our website (it is looked after by a SEO specialist so I don’t do any coding). I installed the Background Manager plugin and it works fine except that I would like parts of the ‘The School’ (i.e. ‘Home’) page just to have a dark grey background. For example the text frame, banner slideshow, sidebanner etc.

    The beta version is here:
    Thanks,

  • Firstly Hello!

    to understand what you search:
    on the background of all the central text of your homepage
    you want it to be a solid gray color
    and the photo of the stars appear all around right?

    In this case it is declared in the CCS3 to your homepage
    see in your theme as this is certainly expected

    I wish you a pleasant day

    I asked my developer how to have the background image just on the side and he replied:

    “It is not possible to have the CSS set up as you ask because the plugin you have installed overrides everything.”

    Any advice please?

    Thanks

    Hello Stupot;
    I’m sorry to contradict your friend designer;
    But firstly the plugin only does the bacground;
    secondly, where you can define your CSS3 solid colors for some fixed parts depend on the theme you are using.
    Just look at the examples here:
    https://prntscr.com/18l050
    https://demo.myatus.com/bgmwp/
    https://kallinhiihtokeskus.fi/
    There are plenty of other
    myself and I use it very well in the “U-Design” theme
    with greater sophistication in these three examples

    That’s it. what you want is possible and not very difficult.
    good luck

    Now I know it is possible I’ll get my developer on the case.
    Thanks again for a great plugin.
