  • Hi siriusly!

    I’m not sure this is an out of the box feature of MarketPress, but it should be possible with a bit of tweaking.

    How I would handle it is to create the product and stick it in a special category (such as “Private Purchases”) or a private tag, making sure to give the product a random slug so people can’t find it at random.

    Then you could edit the code to exclude this category/tag whenever the product list is generated. That way the customer would have to know the exact URL of the product to be able to find it a buy it, which of course you send to the correct customer and no-one else.

    @siriusly

    Just Checking in to see how you are going with this.

    Cheers

    Thanks for checking in, Tom! After buying & trying out Marketpress and another solution (eStore + eMembers), the other solution seemed to work best for this particular situation. It worked without modifying code, creates encrypted download links, and it is easy enough to train the client to maintain. Love Marketpress, though, and have recommended it to many! Thanks again!
