According to https://blog.cleantalk.org/real-time-email-address-existence-validation/#comment-5636, “When this filter triggers it’s equal to blocking spam user. The comment will be blocked, the request will be saved in CleanTalk logs. We can lower this filter for specific service.”

How/where can I disable this check in the CleanTalk plugin for WordPress comments? I want to allow comments from people who choose to leave a fake email address, but I do not want to have Contact forms with fake emails.

    Thank you.

    Hello, @mcbsys

I see that the issue is about filtration, that means that we have to discuss the CleanTalk service.

As per the WordPress catalog rules, WordPess.org Support Forum is for plugins only, not the service. We are not allowed to discuss any premium or non-plugin issues here.

It’s so confusing to figure out how to get questions answered.

I could not find any documentation on how to control this feature, just a blog comment claiming that it can be controlled.

The documentation that I did find at https://cleantalk.org/my/support says that one can only raise a ticket “If you have questions about account, payments, any CMS except WordPress and etc.” Since this IS about using the WordPress plugin, it sounds like it must go on the WordPress forum.

I will try a ticket. Please consider correcting the support page about where to get support for what.
