how to select mobilemenu as the menu for the mobile version

Dear WP-Touch, this is a great plugin I find it very helpful and has many features that I like.
However the mobile version doesnt show all the pages in my desktop theme even although I have checked the custom page template box. I am using Sticker theme by ThinkUp themes and they have a customised home page and portfolio page – these both appear as blanks on the mobile version.
I resolved the blank homepage by creating a separate simplified homepage and checking the custom page button for the mobile homepage version.
I also created a new menu called mobilemenu and added several simplified versions of the desktop pages that would display on a mobile. But when I came to select the new mobilemenu on the WP_Touch theme menus page it wouldnt allow me to save my settings and on the WP_Touch menusetup page mobilemenu didnt appear as a choice.
Please help because this would allow me to make a mobile appropriate layout ie very simple for the more complex of my desktop pages.
