How to select collation used for export?

  • We are trying to use Migrate DB to import into a Hostgator website. Unfortunately, the collation used by Migrate DB, utf8_unicode_520_ci, is incompatible with the MySQL at Hostgator. I tried changing the collation setting in the wp_admin.php file, but this had no effect. Any suggestions?
