  • You need to move whichever files you want, header.php or such, to the file structure of your child theme. Via FTP / SFTP……

    After you move the header.php or such, then you edit within your child theme or with a text editor such as Dreamweaver or TextWrangler

    alright so I will get the header.php template to my child theme using ftp? Is that correct? I am a noob to coding so im not sure how im supposed to archive that. Still if I moved my parent templates to the child theme wouldnt still be the same visually and not the html source code?
