• Hi,

My test site is on a local XAMPP server. The WordPress version is 6.0.2.

I’m looking to scroll the page content over a fixed background image slider which has text content over the top like on these sites:

    https://www.foskers.com/

    https://preview.themeforest.net/item/sartre-creative-multipurpose-html-template/full_screen_preview/13912008?_ga=2.263314500.935221042.1666616942-1706747825.1666616942

I have discovered that the foskers.com site uses the Avalanche Slider but the Avalanche Slider doesn’t seem available as a WordPress plugin.

Can anyone suggest a slider which I can use to achieve the same fixed/ parallax effect please, so the slider remains in the background as the user scrolls the page up over it.

Ideally I want to use a slider in the background, but I’ve even had difficulty achieving the same using a background image with a content block over the top.

The Sticky Block for Gutenberg Editor plugin nearly works when using a background image instead of a slider but when I add a column with a background image, heading and text content over the top, the Sticky Block for Gutenberg Editor plugin prevents the background image from being full width and it affects the z-index of other content like the footer. A free plugin meeting my needs out of the box would be great.

    All suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks.
