How to scale/crop featured image on archives page

Hi , Thanks for adding a feature to disable slider . I love the home page but on the archives page , the images are not scaled/cropped properly. Please check the below link for reference.

I tried using plugins like “crop thumbnails” & “manual image crop” but of no use. Please help with me this. !
