From a security point of view, it is not good to store files on ftp in one folder. That’s why I need a php snippet that could save images in folders by year, month and day. Example: /domain.com/wp-content/uploads/bpfb/2023/08/07/1_0-26117600-1691392857_img20230801082344.jpg

    pls help

    Hi,
This is a plugin that was abandoned by some other team and we updated it while maintaning the backward compatibility. The path issue related to original design.
Though we don’t see any security issue with it(all media is public, so it does not matter how you organize it, you are only obfuscating the path), we are not against allowing the change in path. Will need couple of days to test backward compatibility to see if we can have it.
    Thank you

I meant the security problem more in terms of “slowness”. Because if you have 1000 images in one folder on the FTP server, it will be slower. And if 10,000? you may also run into hosting limits

Are you planning an update? Can you also please check the compatibility with the design of the free wordpress theme buddyX?

    thank you
