How to Save and Authorize Payment

Hi,
I did some research and couldn’t find a solution that fits my needs. I am redesigning an event website that has a limited number of event entries for sale once a year. Since the entries are limited there is more demand the supply. We have to create a lottery so that everyone has a fair chance of buying an entry to the event. I need to save and authorize the payment of the users. If a user is picked in the lottery I can capture payment a week later. A previous webmaster was able to do this with stripe on a custom hand-coded website. Is this possible with Woocommerce?Thank you!

Stripe includes a feature to authorize and capture later the funds. Please note, you are required to capture the payment within 7 days of authorization.
