In WP 3.5, the links/blogroll section of the WP-Admin menu has been disabled by default if it’s not used. I have a couple of websites where I recently moved the links to custom menus (after updating to 3.5) and it works well. But the links/blogroll menu item still appears in the admin panel.

I know I can disable it using Adminimize or other plugins, but I was wondering if its possible to simply run the script that the official WordPress updating process uses, to disable the links section.

    [No bumping]
