How to revert back to WordPress 3.7.1 or the version before 3.8

It’s not advisable to revert to a previous version since this may introduce security issues for your site. Additionally, the 3.8 database may differ from that used on 3.7.1 and you may end up with more complications.

If you really insist on reverting, simply use the most recent backup version of your database made prior to the upgrade and install the backed up files from your 3.7.1 installation.

I hope there are plans on dumping this version. It really stinks.
