How to revert back to previous format.

Good day!

I understand that this plugin generates new images in webp format and load the image based on the new URLs. What if I decided to delete a image from the media library, does the webp file delete as well? Or I have to manually remove it in the server? And if I decide to revert back to loading jpeg and png. Do I simply deactivate the plugin or I have to amend all the URLs myself? I’m checking in view of server storage and proper housekeeping. Thanks!
