    Hi there

Unfortunately, the SEO manager of my site was not professional enough and installed this plugin without my permission and modified more than 47000 images, all of which had accurate and correct alt and attributes, using this plugin, which caused many of them lose their rank.

Now I want to return the previous information but I don’t know which table in the database is related to the alt information.

Is there a way that we can return the previous information that is the result of more than four years of hard work and fine-tuning manually?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @jalal768, my name is Arun. Sorry to hear about the troubles. I am guessing a full DB restore isn’t practical now? If that’s possible, that would be ideal and easier.

Otherwise, WP stores image alt text in the post meta table. Other attributes are saved in the posts table along with the image.

Hope that info helps. Let me know if there is anything further I can assist with.

    Hello dear Arun

my website is a woocommerce E-shop and every day, there are more than 50 orders added to database.

I was exploring the ways to save this 15days orders, but seems I had to restore full database.

I’ll do and share the result.

thanks for your attention and best regards. ??

Maybe you could export the newer orders, do a database restore and then add the orders back?

I think there are tools to do compare two databases, so that you know exactly what changed and such.

    Seasons greetings

Identify the table in the database that stores alt information for images. Check the CMS or plugin documentation. Once identified, manually update the alt attributes using SQL queries. Backup your database before making changes and seek professional assistance if needed.
