• Hi, all ==
    I’m using the “Search & Filter” plugin as a widget in my sidebar. I need to contain the display width, but can’t figure out how. My site is in development on my localhost (XAMPP) so I don’t think I can’t post a link, but here’s a screen capture image:

    Widget is too wide for (light gray) sidebar space

    DETAILS
    Theme: Themify Basic running as a child theme
    Sidebar width: 220px
    Sidebar content width: 195px

    The Search & Filter shortcode is set in a TEXT widget located in the sidebar.

    My shortcode:
    [searchandfilter fields=”category,post_tag,search” submit_label=”Search this combination”]

    PROBLEM:
    The search box and horizontal divider lines display at about 300px wide.
    That’s wider than the sidebar content area (195px) so the plugin extends to the right.

    I’m not a coder, but can follow your suggestions.
    Been trying to fix this for hours…

    QUESTION:
    WHAT CODE can I add or alter to restrict the display width of this plugin?
    In WHICH FILE must I enter that code?

    Thanks,
    Tom
