How to restrict operations according folder

    Hi. I need to restrict some operation (for example create and rename folder) according to some folder. Is possible?

    if not would be useful improve the restriction feature to set user or user role and folder as well.

    Hi @french150,

    We’re happy to let you know that by adding user restrictions rules feature and turning off the make directory and rename operations for the particular folder, you may limit the creation and rename activities in accordance with folders. To create the rule, please use the screenshot below as a guide.

    Hi, ok. So the operations, for example rename and create directory, will be limited for that folder for that user or for all folders? I want only for specified folder. So I assume that I have to create another restrictions for the same user or user role to allow the operations for other folders, right?

    Hi @french150,

    The operations will be limited for that specific folder and for that user. In order to restrict different folder access, you need to create multiple restrictions rule for different folders.
