How to restore from raw database and folder backup?

    Dear all,

    I saved the raw copy of the MySQL database, and the program folder of my very old WordPress long time ago, maybe 6-7years ago.

    I wonder if I can restore the backup to a temporary WordPress with the lastest or adequate version, as I want to export the old blog posts and then import them to my current WordPress 6.0 site.

    Is it possible to do so?
