How to Restore Backup from ZIP File

I created a backup using WP Clone by WP Academy plugin and downloaded the zip file. Now i have made the same site up on a different hosting and I have the backup as .zip in my macbook available. I am unable to get the website up ?? Tried putting it in cpanel and extracting. and there is no option in WP Clone plugin to restore from file, only restore from url is there – tried putting the zip file in cpanel and restoring from url by putting – https://www.xyz.com/backupname.zip but that is a failure. What to do?
