I’ve upgrade my site from 2.6.x to 2.7 and everything’s going fine.
But when I logged in I can’t see any posts or pages, is it normal?
If so, how to restore all my posts?
    Thank you.

Upgrading does not remove your posts. Did you save your wp-config file, or did you create a new 2.7 install or what?

i’ve save the old wp-config already.
I’ve done step by step as the documentary said.
I’ve deleted the old files upload the new files.

Well, did you look in your database to see if the old posts are still there? Did you change the wp-config by mistake?

You must have done something wrong somewhere. Without knowing what that is, there’s no way I can tell you how to correct it.

While no one can tell you what wasn’t right about the install, its possible you can salvage the blog .. Check out your database to see if the posts still exist..

Did you by chance export the posts as a safeguard?
Sounds like overkill, but since things do tend to not always go the way we want them to, my first move is usually to export it all and save it prior to doing anything.

I’ve check my db and I think my post still exist but they just don’t show up.
I didn’t export the posts, I’ve only back up my db and all content.

Make sure the $table_prefix in your wp-config.php file is the same as the prefix to your WordPress tables. So if your posts table is called wp_posts, then the $table_prefix is wp_

yeah, the problem is at table prefix.
    thanks everyone for your help!

This happened to me, too, after the upgrade. Most of my posts are visible except one category, but when I’m in the dashboard and click on “posts”, it says I don’t have any. Though I know the posts still exist in the database because the correct number of posts is listed next to the “post” link. It seems to me there must be a disconnect between the dashboard and the database, but I can’t figure it out. My $table_prefix is the default ‘wp_’ and so are my WP tables.

Hi, just had to update in case others have my issue. The problem was that the mysql wp_post table was corrupted. I just had to repair the table and all is working now. The added bonus is that I now think I’m a genius.

    Hello Genius.
How did you repair the mysql wp_post table?
Also, how was it that you were looking at the database itself? Where can you do that?
    Thanks
