• I was editing a blog post at my website and when I tried to save the edits it said the JSON response is invalid so changes cannot be saved. How can I resolve this issue?

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Also, beware that we typically don’t recommend free hosting providers around here, as they often offer crippled servers that prevent WordPress from functioning properly.

There are a few recommended hosting providers, and if you really want a free blog, try WordPress.com instead.
