    Hi, I’m a complete beginner.

Currently my form is taking up too much space vertically so I’d like to narrow the fields in height. Please tell me how to do this, I am new to CSS etc… Do I change the fields in Style Settings? But I don’t understand what the field titles mean i.e. Form DIV; Left Box DIV; Input Labels assignment DIV.. what is all that?!!

Would it be so hard to just provide a simple tool to format the sizes and widths in real time, like in a word document for example, without end users having to type in code ??

Anyway, what would be your suggestions for narrowing the height of the fields and lengthening them?

    Many thanks.

  • Hi antaylor111, have a look at this URL and focus on step number 4.

Let me know if that helps.

    Kind regards

Hi, thanks. That did help with widening the fields but I haven’t been able to decrease the height of the fields. I tried adjusting the height in the “Input textarea fields:” box but that only seems to apply to the Message field, not any of the others…

    Thanks.

Hi antaylor111, can you share again your URL with the contact form.

    Thank you

    Hi it’s https://www.nt-music.com

The form is at the bottom of the page
    thanks

Hi the URL that I provided above gave you the correct area to change the settings unfortunately it did not specify that in some cases one might adjust the settings to their needs. Can you try changing the settings from 120px to something smaller for example 90px.

    Thank you

Hi, thanks. I did, I tried adjusting that to just 6 px but like I say, it only affects the size of the message box not the other fields.

    Man thanks.

Hi to change the field height for the other fields, you have to change the font size.

The something similar to the following.

    font-size: 8px;

Ok, I have figured out that I can add in additional html instructions to the styles settings boxes than what is already there. I have managed to narrow down the fields more along the lines of what I want

thanks for this very nice plugin.
