• Hi Vasyl,

    I have a huge problem since I accidentally restricted ALL of my users from the AAM plugin, including myself…. so I can’t reset the settings since I can’t even see this plugin anymore after logging in. How to reset all settings without having to change the database? I don’t know which records to delete or change in the database without damaging my whole WordPress website …
    Please help me.

    Thank you in advance,

    Susan

    @elephantseeselephant,

    Ok, seems like in your case you need to login to the database and go to the wp_option database table. Then simply all the options that start with the aam_ prefix. This will reset any access settings that related to all your roles and default access settings.

    Keep me posted.

    Hi Vasyl,

    Thank you for your help.
    Do I have to delete all those options that start with the aam_prefix? Or edit them into different values?

    My best,

    @elephantseeselephant,

    If you want to deserialize and reverse-engineer each value, sure, you are more than welcome to do so. In this case, you need to set false to each menu item that you’ve restricted.

    But I would delete all options. Faster and easier approach.

    Regards,
    Vasyl
