I accidentally ran a Sucuri malware scan on a site that was in maintenance mode. Sucuri did not like that at all and reported a lot of errors that I think were it just trying to deal with maintenance mode. Lesson learned. Turn of maintenance mode and then scan. ?? The problem I’m having though is that I don’t see a reset or rescan button. How do I get Sucri to run a second scan on the site?

  • The results of the “Malware Scanner” are stored for the next twenty minutes after you execute that tool, so you can wait that time and the plugin will reset the information of the previous scan automatically.

If you do not want to wait then go to the “Scanner Settings” panel located in the plugin’ settings page and click the button that says “Reset sitecheck logs” which in the current version 1.7.6 must be the last button in the table.

Now, if you are using scanner outside of the plugin, that is if you are using SiteCheck to run a direct scan over a website, there is a link at the bottom of the grey container, at the end of the result of the scan named “Force a Re-scan”.
