How to replicate the demo preview?

  • Hello.
    Just installed storefront free for my blog. I do not need to use WooCommerce in my site, I’m just using this theme as a blog.
    Anyway I would like to replicate some thing about this demo: https://demo.woothemes.com/storefront/

    I would like to add the search form in the header just like in the demo, and I would like to add the recent and popular articles in footer.

    Sadly in widget I just have 2 position. So how can I do the job?
