How to replace home page with Elementor page

I have a WordPress installation 5.2.3 created by an autoinstaller.

What I need to do:
I need to replace the default WordPress homepage with a custom Elementor (home) page. How to do that? I need to create a simple static website created solely with Elementor, so I need to replace the homepage and the theme’s menu system with custom Elementor pages and menus. In particular I need 3 big buttons-links on the home page leading to 3 sections of the site.

Note: I’m unable to change the theme and the menus in WordPress currently. I would need to ask the admin to do this if needed. Admin rights are not a problem, I can ask our admin to fix this and that, but I need to understand what to ask.
