How to replace “by Author” in the posts list

Hi! I’m using this theme to display the recent posts on the homepage (default WP behavior).

I have translated all the content from pot file to localized po and it’s working well by the only thing which is not translated is “by {Author name}”.

I have replaced “by %s” with “автор %s” in the po file and it’s still shown as “by…” on the page. All the rest is displayed as translated.
Seems this “by…” is hardcoded somewhere but I could not figure out where.

Please help to fix this.
