How to renew the permlink with Post name automatically?

  • I found a problem that with post name as permlink if you change the title of the article, the permlink of the article is still the old title of the article,how to renew the permlink with post name form when the title of article changed automatically?

    Maybe we can delete all the old post name with some kind of sql commands and renew it with other sql commands.
    How to do?

  • Not sure if it would help but have you also tried re-saving the permalinks as well. Also double check there’s not a duplicate post in the trash as well, that can cause issues. Also if you’re using something like Yoast SEO plugin, if the changes to the permalink are small, it may strip out certain words and keep the same title (possibly).
