How to remove youtube’s new feature “Watch on Youtube” bottom corner?

  • It is the second time I am asking for the same issue, yet couldn’t get a solution at this instance. Does anyone know how to get rid of this feature, newly added “Watch on Youtube” button that is placed on the bottom left corner of the video?

    Attached is the screenshot of the feature I need removed?

    It’s something we don’t control as it’s coming from a 3rd party plugin.
    Please check it with the plugin author for getting assistance.

    Hello,

    Just went through your blog posts and seems like the “Watch on YouTube” badge is inevitable. I have tried several times to apply the “modestbranding” and such known commands in order to get it removed, still, without any result. What surprises me the most is that I have been repeatedly told that it comes from a third party plugin.

    It sounds like you may not have read the article all the way through. Or maybe I wasn’t clear. The modestbranding parameter is irrelevant for the solution I’m suggesting. Here is an example of the embed code. As you can see, it doesn’t use the modestbranding parmameter.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding, but the “I have tried several times to apply the “modestbranding” and such known commands in order to get it removed, still, without any result” was being applied before coming across your article. I was referring to what I have been told earlier and what suggestions the support gave me. Actually, your article proved that it doesn’t work. Hope that makes sense to you.
