how to remove Your shopping cart is empty Visit the shop

It is quite tiring to go through all of the php files, there are a lot. I read a bit into the matter already. Most folks use the widget, though and this was easy to find – in fact. I am using the page, though. I have found a file, although with conflicting entries. I presume, there is more than just removing or altering the words. There is – i suppose – a proper (perma-)link-update necessary. Usually i find me the suitable tutorial and move on through learning by doing. Here, though i don’t even know, where to search. I have the impression, there are others with the same problem. Could be a great PHP tutorial for quite a few people. Would be grateful for any hints….
