• Hi! So ive encountered a problem with my wordpress website.

[ Moderator note: moved to Fixing WordPress. ]

I’m making a website for a friend and i’m using the blog feature to create a reference list of jobs. Ive gotten to remove date, author name etc. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove this: https://puu.sh/vKpZk/51ab42d574.png at the bottom of the blog post. As you can see the author name is gone, but not the rest.

The theme i’m using is ‘Polestar’ if that’s relevant to the issue?

    Thanks for reading.

  • Hi @zeroxiz,

Not sure if you are using the free or paid version of their theme, but I added the free version to one of my sites and here’s how to disable that author box at the bottom of the blog posts.

Go to the theme settings: Appearance > Themes > then click Customize on the Polestar theme. Click Blog, then scroll down those settings and make sure ‘Post Author Box’ is unchecked.

Hope that helps, but if you still have questions just let me know.

    Take care,
    Andrew
