How to remove version query string?

  • Hi,

    I’d like to remove the version query strings of this plugin for better cache performance and less http requests.

    I’ve already removed these from the css and js files (following this), but the SyntaxHighlighter plugin still adds an query string to the html page. For example:


    www.example.com/uncategorized/my-first-article/?ver=3.0.9

    How can I remove this?

    Any chance a function hook can be made for this?

    That would save editing the main syntaxhighlighter.php file after each update to remove this redundant query parameter.
