How to remove user roles after plugin is removed?

    I removed this plugin a long time ago, but there’s still 3 additional user roles on the site from it. Is there some way I can remove those?

    This isn’t anything against this particular plugin, but I really wish WP was better at siloing each plugins’s settings and/or tracking it’s changes so they can truly remove all their stuff from the database, when removed. Or at very least a cleaner plugin can identify data that belongs to plugins that are not longer present, and get rid of it.

    Excellent! Thank you. So once that’s released, we can just install it again, then remove it, and it’ll take those user roles with it, this time around?

    Yes, of course, in the recent pro version, BackWPUp Pro already remove all of its roles, the free version will get updated this features really soon, in the next release ??

    I have the free version, I don’t see that after it’s been deactivated that it removed the roles. Please advise.

    They’re saying the next update will do this in the free version.

    yes it has been released, please install BackWPUp and then uninstall and remove it and all BackWPUp Roles should be removed ??

    Hello, I tried this on multisite and it still unfortunately did not work to remove all 3 of the custom BackWPup user roles. I updated to the latest BackWPup, then activated, refreshed WordPress, then deactivated and deleted. But the BackWPup roles are still there across all sites. Please advise. Thanks.
