How to Remove URL in Title

Hey,
I have another question (hopefully my last :P), how do I remove the url from the title? Some of my pages being indexed in Google are showing the URL in the title although when your visiting the page their not being displayed.
Here’s an example.
Google:

https://img852.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20110422at111.png/My theme is using this for the title:
<title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>Also, is there anyway to disable the date from being showed in Google?
