How to remove URL from header/footer in printouts

It depends on the browser.
In Google Chrome, when you’re printing (to PDF or a printer), click “More Settings”, then DEselect “Headers and Footers”. See this screenshot.

In Firefox when printing using a printer, go to “Page Setup”, then “Margins & Header/Footer”, then under “Headers & Footers” set them all to “–blank–“. See https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C0aQNQL9iK7DMfCj2VE1TLVqFSku1K7V/view

In Firefox when making a PDF using “Print to PDF” extension, go to Firefox’ “Hamburger” menu (top-right, button), then find “Print to PDF” extension and click its three dots (for settings), then select “options”, then for each of the inputs saying “The text for the page’s left/right header/footer” set it to blank. Next time you generate a PDF with it, those items in the headers/footers will be removed.

Mobile Safari doesn’t add them anyways.
