How to remove unattched images ?

    How to remove unattached images form directory.
    I am using WordPress 2.7.1
    I am bit confused about it.
    If i go to media and scan for unattached media, it show me noting after scanning.
    Is there any plugin for that?
    Please help!

    Ignore the ‘Scan for Lost attachments’.

    In Media->Library, click the Unattached filter, then delete individual media or do Bulk Delete.
