How to remove twitter, Facebook Like function & comments status from news posts

*but I think it is based on the Twenty Ten theme

This should be easy to do:

Open single.php from the ‘Appearance’ — > ‘editor’

You’ll see where the content is being called, and after it you should find all the meta and sharing info. Just delete what you don’t want.

No its not always single.php file, in the case of 2010 theme its functions.php so it depends on the theme ??

Hard to pinpoint these things without seeing the theme files… =)

I found the code with a bit of guess work, it was:
