• Hi
I have some spammy trackbacks on an important post. I’d really like to remove them but can’t see how. Yes I’ve googled and checked these forums but all I can find is how to stop disable all trackbacks in the future.

Also, I’m thinking it might be a good idea to delete all trackbacks on all existing posts. Can that be done?

If anyone could help with either of these, I’d sure appreciate it

    Mark

  • Edit the Post and uncheck “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page”. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

I’ve already tried that, esmi. It’s unchecked but the trackbacks are still there, all 17 of them ??

The existing trackbacks will be listed under Comments -> Approved. You’ll need to locate and delete each one.

Ah I had no idea they were in the comments sectionI’m deleting now.

Do you are anyone else know if there is a way to automatically delete all previous trackbacks on all posts. I have 100’s of posts. A plugin perhaps or a SQL command or something?

    Thanks
