How to remove too much white space under menu bar

I removed some image widgets I thought might have been causing the issue and then added the code piece by piece to see the changes and eventually added it all and it seems fine now. Even when I added the image widgets back in, so I don’t know what happened there. Maybe it needed refreshing properly.
There is still a bit of a gap, but it maybe caused by the edit bar that shows on the bar, which I won’t know until I go live, but it’s helped a little.

That site you look at is not actually mine but had same issues as me. I’ve sorted it now thanks and I’m going to close this thread as it has got confusing with the other thread that joined it. Chipst also sorted their issue, but many thanks.
