How to Remove these Ugly little Excerpt Tags?

I want to use PHP_thecontent rather than the excerpt so I can use the “more” tag and format my teaser.

Under my beautiful post teasers there are these ugly little links that say

“Read the full post (132 words, 4 images, estimated 32 secs reading time)”
