  • Are you using a child theme or a custom CSS plugin?

The theme is called Virtue (2.1.6)
And when I installed the theme on the front page was their “Virtue banner”
I was able to add my own banner above it but can’t see where to delete their banner.
I went all through the theme options, the media section, the widget section. I’m running out of places to look.

You will need to create a virtue child theme and do all modifications from there.

If you are doing modifications on virtue parent theme, you will lose all your modifications when the theme needs updating.

To create child theme, click on the links on esmi response.

To delete the theme banner and upload yours, you need to go to Appearance – Theme options – Slider Settings – Slider Images

    Hope that helps

    Hey kaycee7

All you have to do is open the theme options > slider settings.
where you can choose a slider select none. if you leave it blank it defaults to the demo but if you select none then it won’t show.
