• Hello WordPress community!

I am using the WordPress comment functionality. When a user comments on a page, a email is sent to me notifying me of the comment. It looks as if the email is based on a WordPress template for the email. In the upper right hand corner of the email, there is displayed a “W” – looks like this is the WordPress logo. Can somebody advise me where this template is located and how to remove the “W” logo on the email template please? Thank you!

  • Hi, @mosesyoon. If you’re seeing a WordPress logo in the email, then it sounds to me as though those emails are probably coming from wordpress.com itself; which would happen if 1) your site is actually hosted there, or 2) it’s self-hosted but you’re using the Jetpack plugin with its Subscriptions module enabled.

If that’s the case, then as far as I know, there’s not currently any way for you to change that logo (though if your site is hosted at wordpress.com, then you’ll want to confirm that fact with their support team).
