how to remove the word page not found & posted by

Please change /news/ permalink to some other name say /latestnews/ OR /ournews/ etc.

Right now news are going to archive page.
You can changes permalink bellow the title section of the post.

I also got a similesr problem. It shows 404 error when going to the post url. Form where can you change “/news/ permalink to some other name say /latestnews/ ” ?

I changed default permalink to “plain” then it was working but once i changed to “post name”. gets 404 error. Also from where can we get rid of this “news” tag ? it seems to be the one causing problems.

Please update your permalink structure in setting-> permalink setting.
because we have to update permalink once you made changes in registered post type slug.

Can you kindly explain it bit more ? I have done following but still “news” tag exists and gives 404 error.

I changed from
Settings > permalinks > Post> “Post Name”
to
Settings > permalinks > Post> “Plain”
then again to
Settings > permalinks > Post> “Post Name”
