Hi! I try to create an email opt-in section for my website with the Embed option (Inline). However, no matter how much I try to adjust it in the Appearance section, I still see a white space above the embed (I placed the embed above the footer section). This issue happens for both Desktop and Mobile.

Is there any possible way to remove this white space?

    Thank you!

    Hi @elyalorde

I hope you are doing well.

I am afraid the link is protected “You need access
Ask for access, or switch to an account with access.”

Could you please make it public so we can take a closer look at the section that you are referring?

    Best Regards

    Hi @elyalorde

    Thank you for the screenshot.

I checked on my lab site using a fresh embed but I don’t see any padding or margin on Hustle container: https://monosnap.com/file/F1M6dsSC6d64YUtg2AlwRKHcITCSmN

Can you share the link where we can see it on your website and we can find from where the space is coming?

    Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your information! I appreciate your support on this matter.

Unfortunately, I’m building this new website and putting it in “coming soon” mode so currently people are not able to see the website publicly. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I have tried to take new screenshots with clearer explanation on the photos, not sure if it would help. It would be great if you could take a look and share with me in case you have any ideas on the issue. Thank you!

Not sure if you will need this info but here is the short code for the Embed: [wd_hustle id=”3″ type=”embedded”/]

Hopefully there will be a way to solve this. Thank you!

    Best Regards,

    Hi @elyalorde

    Thanks for response!

I understand the issue but I’m afraid we can’t help much more without checking it on site. Issues like this are related to specifics of the site, usually CSS, and there’s no “universal solution”.

In most cases it’s due to some CSS rules coming from theme. In case of using some page builder it often depends on settings of other modules on site (e.g. due to their positioning and/or margins and so on).

Being able to see the issue “live” means we can inspect HTML markup and relevant CSS and that helps find explanation of such behavior and come up with a CSS tweak to deal with it.

Without checking the site, I can only advise checking margin and padding settings of areas above and below embed and very likely reducing them should help.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation! I appreciate it. ??

I use Astra theme and Elementor. I tried to check the margin and padding settings of the Astra theme and it was at zero value so I’m not sure if the problem comes from the other setting of theme or not from the theme at all. But I will try to check it all.

In case, the problem is still there then I may have to use the pop-up and slide-in instead.

Thank you again for your support!

    Hi @elyalorde

    Thank you for response!

I believe we would be able to help you better if we could check this on site. I understand it’s not public but perhaps you could e.g. set some copy in public which we could visit to check it?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thank you for your effort in trying to help me with this matter! After checking other methods, I found out that as long as I don’t let the plugin automatically insert the embed to my website (turn off the Inline option) and then I use the Short-code to insert it myself via Elementor, I will not have that white space issue anymore.

Everything is good to go now!

Thank you again for your support and best wishes! ??
