How to remove the plugin on live WP only site

    Unfortunately I have activated the plugin on a live WP 3.8 only site. I haven’t created any data with the plugin yet, however I already have pages on my site.
    To test the effect I created a local copy of the plugin and simply removed the plugin from the folder. After that no more page could be opened although they are still in the backend. Even If I re-add the same activated plugin to the plugins directory I still cannot open my pages.
    Bottom line: is there ANY way to remove the plugin without these effects?

    Can I just double-check what the error is, please. You have deleted the Demo Data Creator plugin from the /plugins/ directory, but now you can’t view pages in your live site?

    I’m not sure why that would have happened. Do you get any kind of error?

    Luckily all is fine. I didnt create an demo data and therefore didnt delete any of it. just reomved the plugin and initially got an error. however, i dont think it was related to your plugin. all is fine, thx!
