How to remove the first option in dropdown and add styling

  • When I hover my cursor on one of the dropdowns one option is displayed that is either All or the option I had clicked on previously. I have to click on it to see the full list. How do I remove this hover effect? I want to click on one of the filters and see one list that has all of the options in it.

    How can I style the filter lists? They are very narrow and some of the text wraps. I know I can change some styling myself but the plugin should come with a few basic styling options.
