Hello, I’m testing the contact form Forminator which I use for registration to a conference. I’d like to use the same e-mail for multiple tests but I get information that the e-mail is already registered. How can I delate it from Forminator database? I removed it from the submission list and I set on 1 day the submission retention period by the e-mail I used for tests a week ago is still as already registered. I’m using the free version of the plugin.

    Hi @kosmibe

I hope you are doing well.

The “Registration” template is related to WordPress user registration, so you can only register one user, it will also be visible in WordPress > Users.

If you are looking just to have a list of registrations then you will need to re-create the form using the Blank template: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#form-templates

    Hi @wpmudevsupport12

    thank you for your answer.

I’ve just checked and I see that I used the “registration” template, which I modified, instead of a blank template. But still it works I think I can keep it as it is, can’t I…

The problem remains at the testing phase of the form before launching the website. During testing, I use my email address. After conducting the first test and submitting the conference registration form, a second test attempt is not possible because I receive a message that this email address is already registered. Removing the submission data from the ‘submissions’ list doesn’t solve this problem. So with the form based on the registration template it is not possible to delete the registered email address, is it? Wouldn’t it be the same with a form based on a blank template? In this case I’ll also use the same e-mail for multiple tests. Will it be possible with the form based on a blank template?

Thank you for your help ??

    Best regards!

    Hello @kosmibe ,

Removing the submission data from the ‘submissions’ list doesn’t solve this problem.

That is because the registration form creates a user with that email. You would need to remove the user first, not just the submission.
It’s better to not use registration forms as they work differently than normal contact forms, so you can use the same email multiple times.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello @wpmudev-support2,

thank you for your answer. Everything is clear ?? I removed the users and next time I’ll choose a blank template for a form used as a registration form for an event ??

    Best regards
