How to remove sociable from front page

    I don’t feel it’s necessary to have sociable button on the front page since I only allow a quarter of the article to be viewed along with a “read more” link. I went ahead and removed the check mark from “Front page of the blog,” but it di nothing. It’s still visible. I search for the PHP file to remove the code manually, but can’t find the correct file.

    Any suggestions?

  • Your plugins should be in wp-content/plugins/<plugin-name-ish>/.

    I know where the plugin files are located, but I am having a difficult time locating the line of code that will remove the buttons from the front page. Unchecking the box will not remove the files like I mentioned above so if I could figure out where this code is located then I could handle it on my own.

    @spoon, it sounds like you know what you are doing, but dont forget to check the cache, delete it if it is enabled.
